What does a urea filter do?

A urea filter is used in a truck’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. Its role is to filter out any impurities or particulate matter from the AdBlue (urea) solution before it is injected into the exhaust stream. This keeps the injection system clean and functioning correctly, preventing costly blockages and malfunctions, while reducing nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.

What is an air dryer filter for?

An air dryer filter removes moisture, oil, and other contaminants from the compressed air used in a truck's braking system. This prevents the accumulation of water and debris in the air lines, which can lead to corrosion, frozen brake lines in cold weather, and overall brake system failure. 

What systems use a hydraulic filter?

A hydraulic filter is used across various systems that rely on hydraulic fluid to operate, such as truck transmissions, power steering systems, and even hydraulic tipping gear. The filter’s job is to protect these systems by trapping contaminants, such as metal shavings and debris, which prevents premature wear on pumps, valves, and cylinders, thereby extending the service life of the entire system.

Do I need a steering filter?

A steering filter is designed to protect the components of the power steering system, keeping the hydraulic fluid free of contaminants that could cause damage to the steering pump or steering rack.
